1. About these terms
“We”, “us” and “our” mean Michael Olanipekun trading as Bara Group. “You” means the person using the website or purchasing a service. If written terms agreed directly with you for a particular programme or engagement conflict with these general terms, the specifically agreed terms take priority for that engagement.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking or payment. If you book for another person or provide information about a family member, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that the information is accurate.
3. Services and bookings
Service descriptions, available dates and key booking conditions are shown on the relevant page. A booking request is not accepted until payment has been successfully processed and we send a confirmation. Please check the confirmation and contact us promptly if anything is incorrect.
Sessions are offered subject to availability. A tailored-session booking normally reserves the stated two-hour appointment. Other programme scope, delivery dates and fees will be shown or agreed separately.
4. Prices and payment
Prices shown at checkout include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. The tailored-session booking currently requires a £15 deposit to secure the appointment. Any further service fee will be displayed or agreed with you before it becomes payable.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full payment-card details. You are responsible for using a payment method you are authorised to use.
5. Rescheduling, cancellation and refunds
You may reschedule or cancel a tailored-session booking until exactly 48 hours before its scheduled start. A timely reschedule transfers the existing booking to the newly selected available slot. A timely cancellation automatically initiates a full refund of the £15 deposit to the original payment method.
Once fewer than 48 hours remain, online rescheduling and cancellation are locked and the deposit is normally non-refundable, including for a no-show. This does not affect any statutory right that applies, nor our ability to make an exception where required by law.
Use the secure management link in your confirmation email, or request a link through the Manage Booking page. Management links are private and must not be forwarded.
Full details appear in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
6. Statutory cancellation rights
Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory consumer rights. Where a statutory cooling-off right applies to a service bought at a distance, you may cancel by sending us a clear statement within the applicable period. If you expressly ask us to begin providing a service during that period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for work already supplied. The right may end once a service has been fully performed where the legal requirements for early performance and acknowledgement have been met.
You may use the following wording: “I give notice that I cancel my contract for [service], ordered on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].” Send it to info@themikelanny.com.
7. Changes or cancellation by us
We may need to change a facilitator, format, location or time for reasons outside reasonable control. We will give as much notice as reasonably possible. If we cancel a paid booking and cannot provide a suitable alternative that you accept, we will refund the amount paid for that booking.
8. Transport arrangements
Where transport support is discussed, it is a separate logistical arrangement and remains subject to availability, confirmation and any terms communicated to you. You must provide accurate pickup and contact details and tell us promptly about changes. Drivers receive only the information reasonably needed for the journey.
9. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate contact, booking and payment information; arrive or join on time; behave respectfully; follow reasonable safety instructions; and avoid sharing secure links or materials without permission. We may end a session where behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, abusive or materially disruptive. A refund will not normally be due in those circumstances.
10. Nature of our content and sessions
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, website content, programmes and sessions provide general personal, family, leadership or business-development guidance. They are not regulated legal, tax, investment, medical or mental-health advice. You remain responsible for decisions and should obtain appropriately qualified advice where needed. Outcomes depend on individual circumstances and are not guaranteed.
11. Intellectual property
The website and materials we provide—including text, frameworks, recordings, graphics and programme resources—belong to us or our licensors. They are supplied for your personal use in connection with the service. You must not reproduce, publish, sell, distribute, record or commercially exploit them without written permission, except where law permits.
12. Website use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with bookings or payments, scrape personal information, or use the service unlawfully. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users or systems.
13. Liability
We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, failures caused by events outside reasonable control, or business losses suffered by a consumer.
Nothing on the website guarantees a particular personal, family, financial or business result.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information. Our Cookie Policy explains the technologies used on the website.
15. Complaints
Please contact info@themikelanny.com with your name, booking reference and a clear description of the issue. We will acknowledge the complaint and aim to provide a substantive response within 14 days.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections of your home jurisdiction and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future bookings when our services or legal requirements change. The terms in force when your booking was confirmed will normally apply to that booking unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
